About Me
Megan Best, MA, LPC
I provide evidence based, trauma-informed psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and teens. I am honored to be with you in the muck, beauty, pain, and joy that is this healing work. My favorite part of being human is building connection, and my clients are some of my favorite humans. Building a trusting relationship together where healing can happen is such a deeply satisfying process that I can’t imagine doing anything else.
I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Northern Colorado, and a B.A. from Tufts University. I spent over a decade living in a yoga and meditation center and have extensive experience in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices. I have also worked as an elementary school teacher in multiple settings. I have learned that being in the present moment takes effort that brings profound peace. Learning how to do that together is what the work is all about.
I love poetry, dance, books, dogs, spending time in nature and with my son.
